Mariell Bruun, born December 19th, 1994, is a professional golf player.
She turned professional in July of 2017 and played her rookie season on the LET Access Tour in 2018.

During the summer of 2004, Mariell tried golf for the first time when her grandparents took her to the golf course. And she has since then got hooked up to the game. Back in those days, she was an active athlete doing soccer, handball, skateboarding, snowboarding, and music in a school band at the same time. Having conflicts every weekend as to what events she should attend, she took the decision to go all in on just golf and quit everything else in 2008.

In 2010, she got committed as one of 5 golfers to the Norwegian College of Elite Sports (Norgestoppidrettsgymnas (NTG), a high school that specializes in sports. Here she got the opportunity to fulfill her athleticism while being in school, with resources helping her develop her game.

In 2013, she got committed to the University of Denver, a college in the beautiful state of Colorado. Here she was able to compete at the highest level of college golf, with a very competitive schedule all over the USA. She graduated in 2017 with two bachelor degrees in Economics and Communication. And a minor in International Studies.

After college, there was no doubt as to what she wanted to do and joined the PGA of Norway to become professional in July of 2017. She attended both the LET and LPGA Qualifying School, resulting in a partial status for LET and full status on the LET Access Tour in the 2018 season. She also became a member of the Team Norway squad for the 2018 season.
